Thursday February 10th
Today we will enjoy two of Maui’s most thrilling excursions. First, we will enjoy the Ka’anapali Zipline Experience. Then after an afternoon at leisure, we will enjoy a late afternoon horseback riding excursion on a Hawaiian ranch just a short 10 minute drive from our hotel.
Your zipline tour takes you high above the resorts, amidst the verdant valleys of Mount Kahalawai...an incomparable adventure awaits. This land steeped in legend, with panoramic views, plunging cliffs and lush valleys, plays host to a zipline adventure unlike any other. The adventure begins with an exciting off road ride deep into the rugged and beautiful lands above Kaanapali and an easy 2 mile hike to arrive at the 1st Zipline platform. Once there, EIGHT amazing zip lines allow you to soar high above streams and waterfalls as you experience this piece of wild Hawaii. The ziplines take you harnessed safely to a cable so you can glide above the forest and enjoy a memorable and exciting ride. A delicious meal, served at the edge of a 1000 foot overlook provides vistas of disarming beauty. From mountain to sea, this inaccessible world, just minutes from our hotel in Kaanapali, is now within reach.
After returning to our hotel at mid day, the early afternoon is at leisure, to relax & enjoy the beautiful beach surroundings at our hotel.
Later, this afternoon, we will be picked up and transported to t a local ranch just 10 mins. away for our guided horseback ride.
WE WILL RIDE THROUGH THE FOREST WITH PLENTY OF SHADE, THEN ON TO A HILLSIDE OVERLOOKING ANCIENT CAVES AND THEN CONTINUE TO ANOTHER OVERLOOK OFFERING PANORAMIC VIEWS OF THE SEA AND THE ISLAND.
Following our ride, free time will be given to stroll the ranch grounds and pick fresh fruit from its orchards before we are returned to our hotel for the evening at leisure.

Friday February 11th
This morning is free to relax and enjoy the beaches and the resort amenities.
For the active minded, enjoy our optional SUNRISE CRATER HIKE IN HALEAKALA VOLCANO’S CRATER.
We will be picked up at our hotel before the sunrise.
We will then be escorted on a scenic drive up to the crater of Haleakala in comfortable, air-conditioned vans. Enjoy fresh ground coffee and a delicious continental breakfast, featuring fresh tropical fruit and muffins, while viewing the volcano and the most amazing sunrise views over the crater..
After breakfast we will enjoy a guided hike into the moonscape of Haleakala Crater.
You can hike as far down as you like or sit and enjoy the incredible landscape.
This is a strenuous hike as it is 4 to 5 miles and at 10,000-foot
altitude. The spectacular views of the North and South shores of Maui, the Central Valley and maybe even the Big Island make
this trip unforgettable.
The landscape inside the crater provides vistas that are akin to a grand moonscape. Rock formations that are most unique and iconic make this an even more special experience.
Your knowledgeable guide will explain the intricacies of Hawaiian natural and cultural history and even a little
geology. There are flora and fauna on this hike found nowhere else on earth. Keep your eyes open for the rare Hawaiian State Bird (the Nene Goose), along with other Maui wildlife.*
Haleakala, "House of the Sun," at 10,023 feet. Island-wide pick-up at 3:00/3:30am from our hotel. The sunrise adventure allows you to experience the famous Haleakala crater in comfort and style. After returning to our hotel at mid day, you will have free time to relax, go for a swim, freshen up or lounge in the sun if you wish.
Later this afternoon, at approx. 3:30pm, we will all enjoy a whale watching sunset dinner cruise - another Maui tradition – Whale Watching off the Ka’anapali Coast. Starting for the beach at Whaler’s village, just a 5 minute walk along the boardwalk from our hotel, we will meet our luxury catamaran for a 2 hour sailing cruise.
Expert naturalists will guide us on our cruise where we will view the many enormous whales that inhabit the waters around Maui. February is peak season for whale watching and we will most certainly witness many of the giant creatures in the natural habitat. Our cruise vessel capacity is just 40 people so our group will not be craning necks to see over a hundred strangers for the best views of the whales.
Our whale watch also includes a great dinner and an OPEN BAR (Assorted Crackers and Cheese prior to the meal, Caesar Salad that's tossed on board and not prior to the sail, Baked Chicken Breast in Alfredo Sauce, Baked Penne Pasta, Grilled Ono in Basil Garlic Pesto, Foccacia Bread, and Dessert of Banana & Coconut layered Cake & Chocolate Cake.

Saturday February 12th - Our final full day in Hawaii is a full free day to relax or enjoy one more activity.
For those wishing one more thrill before leaving the islands, sign up for our optional Bicycle ride down Haleakala Crater. The ride is one for the most famous activities on Maui. Featuring a chance to watch an incredible sunrise at the top of the World’s Largest Dormant Volcano, then enjoy a leisurely, all downhill cycle down the coast to the sea level town at its base. The ride is accompanied by expert guidance with frequent stops for photo opps. A continental breakfast of muffins and juice is served at the bicycle operator’s headquarters just before heading up the mountain.
When we reach the top, the view of the sunrise over the volcanic crater on a clear day is mesmerizing.
Once the sun has arisen, we will begin the decent in our van to the starting point of the bicycle ride, a few miles from the peak.
We will then follow the bicycle guide on a leisurely ride downhill to the base. Passengers can stop at any point and rejoin the van that travels behind the bicycle caravan the entire way down to the base.
It is truly an exhilarating experience for those that participate.
Space is limited on this activity and the cost including round trip pick up and return service from our hotel and breakfast at top and bottom of the volcano ride is $155.
